One of the best family neighbourhoods that are located in the south-west of Toronto is Alderwood. Bordered by Etobicoke Creek Valley.
Alderwood is popular for a strong schools and home association which is called Alderwood Action Alliance. This alliance is run by Sir Adam Beck School. It acts as a hub for recreational activities for the residents of Alderwood and hosts a number of activities for its residents.
There is also a public library in Alderwood, which offers adult and children’s programming. For recreational activities, the residents of Alderwood also have Horner Avenue Senior's Centre, which is located at 320 Horner Avenue. At Horner Avenue Senior's Centre they offer barbecues, special events, field trips and other activities.
The residents of Alderwood unwind their hectic schedule with the natural trail that was developed by the Alderwood Environmentalists in association with the city. Alderwood is also home to the famous Alderwood Memorial Park which offers the residents a large green space.
